30-Year Industry Veteran Boosts dB Control Commitment to Quality, Documentation, Compliance of High-Power Defense Electronics for Military Airborne Applications
Fremont, Calif. – March 10, 2020 – dB Control, an international defense electronics manufacturer and wholly owned subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, has appointed Neal Coching as director of quality. To accelerate the company’s existing commitment to quality management and traceability throughout the supply chain, Coching will use his 30 years of industry experience to:
- Ensure dB Control achieves AS9100 certification in 2020
- Continue dB Control’s overall quality improvement program
- Support vendor relationships on the quality side
“Neal is laser focused on getting us AS9100 certified as quickly as possible. We are currently ISO 9001:2015 certified, so this new certification further assures our customers that we meet global standards for quality, compliance, traceability, documentation and risk management,” said dB Control President Mike England.
Prior to joining dB Control, Coching was the director of operations at Teledyne Microwave Solutions. He has also served as Teledyne Cougar’s director of contract manufacturing, and as quality manager for Cougar Components and V-Packet. Coching holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology manufacturing with a minor in military science from California State University San Jose. He served four years in the United States Army.
