dB Control Promotes Gary Spaulding to Director of Manufacturing
Fremont, Calif. – dB Control, an established manufacturer of reliable, high-power microwave amplifiers, radar transmitters and power supplies, announced that Gary Spaulding has been promoted from manufacturing and facilities manager to director of manufacturing. The promotion complements dB Control’s commitment to producing highly-reliable products through proven manufacturing processes and strict quality standards.
“Gary was dB Control’s first employee and has been instrumental in our continued growth and overall success,” said dB Control CEO Joe Hajduk. “Our assemblies must be reliable in extremely rugged environments, and Gary’s commitment and dedication is vital to this requirement. His promotion is well-deserved.”
Spaulding has more than 30 years of electronics manufacturing experience. He has held a number of positions within dB Control, including senior design technician, production supervisor and quality assurance manager. In his new position, he is responsible for all manufacturing and assembly processes, the procurement and handling of materials, and overall facilities management. He oversees several departments, including Quality Assurance, Logistics, Production Assembly, Winding, Potting/Encapsulation, Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving and Stockroom. He has earned certifications as a trainer for IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 soldering, cable and harnessing standards, and for cable and wire harnessing to Mil STD 2000A from Jet Propulsion Laboratory/NASA.
